Unilever Buys Subscription Box Dollar Shave Club for $1 Billion Cash

Last week Unilever announced it would buy Dollar Shave Club (Dollar Shave Club), a direct-to-consumer male grooming subscription box service. Founded in 2012, Dollar Shave Club provides fresh razor blades on a subscription basis, ranging from $3 (with shipping and handling) to $22 a month.
