You win some, you lose some. That’s what Evernote said after publishing a new privacy policy last Tuesday that inspired a media storm and subsequent ire by users of the note-taking app. Many took to Twitter to express their outrage, threatening to uninstall the app and move their notes to rival services. Within days, Evernote retracted its new privacy policy, apologizing and explaining it was a miscommunication and user data remains private. Will this be enough to keep customers from leaving?
