It was another busy week in the subscription world. The FCC proposes “all-in” pricing for cable and satellite TV providers, and IAB tells the FTC their proposed auto-renewal rules will wreak havoc on subscription companies and consumers. Also, Disney+ prices may increase due to concerns over laws in the UK, Meta launches a subscription for VR games, and hackers are threatening to leak 80GB worth of data from Reddit if the company doesn’t pay ransom and reverse their API price increases.
